18th Amendment Beer Cocktails

Gorge Camorra will be mixing some beer cocktails for you to try. Gorge is the local cocktail king with multiple Australian and International mixology awards under his belt. Recently opening The 18th Amendment – Geelong’s newest cocktail bar, on Little Malop Street, Gorge has put together some amazing flavours and incorporated some great beers into the mixes.

Sugar daddy Southern comfort black, blackberry liqueur, lime juice, Fever tree Ginger beer

Masterclasses

Presented by Australia’s very own Beer Diva – Kirrily Waldron. These sessions will enlighten, entertain and educate… plus a few cheeky tastings at each session. Attendance is limited so first in first served so be sure to plan your day accordingly! First in best dressed.

Contrary to popular belief, beer is an incredible cheese accompaniment. The Beer Diva, will showcase a selection of stunning cheeses to a variety of handcrafted, artisan boutique beers.

GABF Wacky Races

There are some exciting things happening on the race track! The return of the Keg Rolling will be matched with some fun beer inspired races that you the patrons can get involved in! You just need to be trackside for the chance to participate and potentially win some of the great prizes on offer;

GABF Brewer Cup heats 1.15-1.45pm Australian Beer Ambassadors GABF Brewer Cup free site at GABF 2020 Australia’s first and only Keg Rolling championship
Race 1 – 2pm GABF Beer Pong – the race $40 worth of tokens get the ping pong ball in the GABF cup – sounds simple!
Race 2 – 2.45pm Barrett Burston Malting Malt Sack Race $40 worth of tokens 8 patrons in Malt sack, dash down the track
Race 3 – 3.30pm Cockies Beer Catch a Cockie 4 cartons of mixed craft beer Catch the Cockie! The Mascot from Cockies Beer is larger than life… 20 patrons will see if they can catch the Cockie as he flies down the straight!
Race 4 – 4.15pm (Main race) GABF Brewer Cup Keg Roll FINAL free site at GABF 2019 In it’s 5th Year, Australia’s first and only Keg Rolling Championship returns with participating Brewers vying for the championship Title of GABF Keg Rolling Champion.
Race 5 – 5pm Balter Brewing Doing a Balter Return flight for 2 to gold coast. Brewery Tour with head brewer Scott Hargrave, including tasting paddle and Schooner of your choice. $200 bar tab that can be used on beer or merchandise. “to dance artlessly, without particular skill or grace, but usually with enjoyment.” Compititors will dance off in to 3 different sections, the number of dancers moving to each section reducing each time, until we have a 2 people dance off.
Race 6 – 5.45pm GABF Undies Dash Reserved table for 8 people at GABF Geelong 2020 2 heats, mens and womens – 100m dash in your undies!
