Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Yes tickets will be available at the gate. Tickets purchased on event day are $45. Online ticket sales close at midnight Friday 15th. Save yourself some dollars and pre-purchase online!

Can children come?
Yes children are welcome, we will have activities and kids entertainment. Children 12 and under are free, 13 to 17 year olds are $20.
Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, even if they are 17 years old they cannot wander around by themselves, as this is a fully licensed event.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
Sorry, but no you can’t. This is a fully catered event. There will be a range of gourmet food suppliers, coffee, and free water available. We are ensuring there are many food stalls that cater for special dietery requirements. Please don’t bring any food on the day as it will be confiscated.

Can I bring my own seating?
Make yourself comfortable! You can bring picnic rugs and deck chairs. Please be wary of placement though and settle in away from crowd routes… we want everyone to be able to taste any beer they fancy!

What if it is going to be a wet day?
The fantastic thing about the racecourse is that it has a large under cover area and function rooms. If the weather is inclement we will move all the brewers, musicians, food … the whole kit and caboodle under cover!

What are tokens and how do they work?
Tokens are the currency of the festival. Each token is worth $2. You can purchase tokens on the day from various locations in the festival. You then exchange the tokens for your beer tastings or food. Pre purchased tickets have some tokens come with them, depending on which ticket you buy.

What if I have tokens left over at the end?
Tokens are not refundable or redeemable for cash. We advise you only buy them in small amounts towards the end of the festival.

I don’t want to drive, what is the best way to get to the festival?
There will be buses running from South Geelong station. This includes your trip back to the station after the festival. There will also be allocated places for friends or family to drop you off, as well as a taxi rank.
